Ceramic window tinting for cars — installed at our Los Angeles studio. STEK ceramic film for heat rejection, UV protection, and interior preservation. Appointment only.
Ceramic window tint uses nano-ceramic particles to block infrared heat and UV radiation without interfering with visibility or electronics. Unlike dyed or metallic films, ceramic tint does not fade, does not interfere with GPS, Bluetooth, or phone signals, and maintains clarity over time.
In Los Angeles, sun exposure is year-round. Ceramic tint keeps cabin temperatures down, protects leather and dash surfaces from UV cracking, and reduces glare on long freeway drives. The film is also rated for its visible light transmission (VLT), so you can choose a shade that meets California tint laws while still getting full heat rejection.
Every car window tinting installation at our studio starts with glass cleaning and plotter-cut film — no hand cutting. Plotter precision means cleaner edges and a tighter fit on every window. We use STEK ceramic film exclusively. Get a quote for your vehicle and we will walk you through shade options in person.
Ceramic tint and a starlight headliner are one of the most-requested combinations at our shop. The reason is practical — darker glass means the starlight effect reads even during daylight hours, instead of disappearing against bright cabin light. The tint applies to the glass while the headliner is at the workbench, so the two services share one shop visit without timeline conflict.
For Tesla owners specifically, the tint plus starlight combination is the most common premium interior build. See our Tesla Model Y starlight headliner install guide for what to expect from the build. For BMW 7 Series, X7, and Alpina owners, the same combination works — BMW starlight install details are in our BMW-specific guide.
