Paint protection film for cars — installed at our Los Angeles studio. Clear, matte, and color PPF on luxury and exotic vehicles. Self-healing, invisible, removable. professional.
Paint protection film is a urethane-based material applied directly over factory paint. It absorbs impacts from road debris, resists scratches, and blocks UV damage — all without changing how the car looks. Self-healing properties mean light surface marks disappear on their own with heat.
In Los Angeles driving conditions — freeways, gravel, construction zones — PPF is the most practical investment you can make in a vehicle's long-term appearance. EV owners often start with Tesla PPF packages for the front clip and rocker panels. The film is removable without damaging the paint underneath.
Every installation at our Van Nuys studio starts with paint decontamination and precise pattern cutting. Get a quote for your vehicle and we will assess coverage options in person.
PPF is the base protection layer. A lot of our PPF builds add racing stripes on top of the film — the stripes apply to the PPF surface, the PPF protects the underlying paint. When the stripes come off years later, the paint underneath is in original condition because the PPF took the wear. For stripe choice and layout planning on top of a PPF build, see our hood vs rally stripes guide.
On the interior side, our PPF builds often pair with a starlight headliner install during the same shop visit — the exterior PPF cures while the headliner is at the workbench. For Tesla builds in particular, customers often combine PPF with the Tesla Model Y starlight install as a single multi-day build.
