About this build

This Range Rover Velar came through our Los Angeles studio as a luxury SUV build — large body panels invite full-coverage builds — partial wraps tend to look unfinished on this kind of vehicle. Multi-service builds are sequenced deliberately — one finish has to fully cure before the next one goes on top, so the schedule reflects that order.

A Range Rover Velar converted to satin black using full-body vinyl wrap — a complete color change with the factory paint intact underneath. The Velar's body geometry is cleaner than the full-size Range Rover but it still has the flush door handles, hidden seams along the rocker line and a complex front clip that all need dedicated cut work. Satin black sits between matte and gloss in maintenance behavior — easier to wash than true matte but holds the same low-reflection look. Ceramic tint matched the wrap depth on all glass.

Why these finishes were combined

Range Rover builds with several finishes work when each layer is planned in sequence: a colour change on the body looks more deliberate when the cabin glass is tinted to match the new exterior tone.
