This Tesla Model Y Juniper came through our Los Angeles studio as an electric platform build — EV-specific spec considerations come into play: glass curvature, charge-port edges, and the way battery heat moves through the cabin all factor into the install plan. Multi-service builds are sequenced deliberately — one finish has to fully cure before the next one goes on top, so the schedule reflects that order.
A Model Y Juniper in Tesla's Ultra Red, under full-body matte clear paint protection film. Ultra Red is a deep multi-layer red that normally reads as a hard gloss; matte film turns it into a flat blood red that changes tone across every curve on the car.
Matte over a dark colour is the toughest finish to keep even — a single overstretched corner reads as a lighter patch, and there is no polishing it back. The film was plotter-cut per panel and wrapped around the edges so no film line is visible at the shut lines. Ceramic tint and a matte-safe coating complete the build.
