This Toyota 4Runner came through our Los Angeles studio as a platform build — panel-by-panel prep stays the same across body styles — wash, decontaminate, align, install. The matte finish is the call when the owner wants the car to read low-profile under daylight and refuse to flash highlights at night. Multi-service builds are sequenced deliberately — one finish has to fully cure before the next one goes on top, so the schedule reflects that order.
An overlanding 4Runner in matte frozen emerald green, with ceramic tint, clear PPF over the headlights and a ceramic coating on the film. The green goes almost black in shade and lifts to a cold deep emerald in sun — the reason this film gets specified over a plain matte green.
This build is set up to be used: a bumper-mounted light bar, recovery points and all-terrain tyres. Clear PPF on the headlights is not cosmetic here — it is the cheapest possible insurance against a gravel strike cracking a housing on a fire road. The wrap edges were tucked behind the fender flares and rock rails so brush and mud cannot catch a lifted edge.

Toyota builds with several finishes work when each layer is planned in sequence: the wrap delivers the colour and finish, the coating helps the vinyl shed dust and dead bugs between washes; a colour change on the body looks more deliberate when the cabin glass is tinted to match the new exterior tone.
Every Toyota build at our Los Angeles studio includes a written aftercare brief and direct text-line access to the installer for the first month. Questions about your specific build — get a quote or call (424) 207-4435.
