About this build

For this project, a matte paint protection film was installed on the full body of a Land Rover Defender. The matte finish converts the factory gloss surface into a non-reflective, satin-smooth texture while retaining the original paint underneath for long-term resale protection. The self-healing PPF absorbs rock chips, sand abrasion, and light scratches from off-road conditions — a typical concern for Defender owners in Southern California. The installation was completed in-studio with tight cuts around the rugged panel seams and the boxy greenhouse. Window tint and painted calipers were finished at the same appointment to deliver a full aesthetic package.
