A liquid silver matte protective film was chosen for this build to combine subtle metallic character with a muted surface finish. The material softens reflections while allowing the metallic particles in the film to create depth under sunlight. In Southern California, where strong daylight can exaggerate gloss reflections, the matte texture produces a more controlled appearance. The installation required careful alignment across the front bumper and hood where multiple film sections meet. The finished surface reveals a faint metallic shimmer that becomes most visible along the upper door line in direct light.
