For this project, the latest sedan revision was fitted with a matte protective film to transform the reflective factory finish into a softer surface texture. The goal was to maintain the original color while introducing a more technical appearance and improving long-term durability. Once the film was installed, a ceramic coating was layered over the exterior to increase resistance to contaminants and simplify washing. Achieving a uniform matte texture required precise film tension across the large hood and door panels, followed by controlled heat treatment along the rear bumper edges.
