View all Lamborghini projects →Why Lamborghini paint deserves PPF — carbon-fiber, ALA, and Ad Personam
A Lamborghini is not a regular paint job. Huracán STO, Performante, Aventador SVJ, Ultimae, and Revuelto use carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) for hood, fenders, rear deck, and structural monocoque elements. CFRP doesn't dent — it cracks. A chip on a CFRP front splitter on a Performante is not a buff-out; it's a panel replacement. Sant'Agata's CFRP body panels start at $4,000-$15,000 each.
The ALA system (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) on Huracán Performante and STO is active aero — flaps in the front splitter and rear wing open and close based on g-force and steering input. PPF must respect ALA aperture geometry; we template-cut around the active flaps so airflow paths function as designed.
For Urus owners, PPF is daily-driver insurance. Urus is the SUV most likely to be parked at LA restaurants, valeted, and exposed to door dings. The carbon-ceramic brake setup throws bronze brake dust on the rocker panels — full-body PPF makes wash days dramatically easier.
For Ad Personam owners (factory custom paint, $15K-$50K+ surcharge), clear PPF is the only path to color preservation. Sant'Agata cannot color-match Ad Personam years later — the original paint is mixed for one car.
Carbon-fiber, ALA active aero & the front-axle lift — what makes Lamborghini PPF different
Lamborghini PPF is a different job than supercar competitors because of the carbon-fiber body panel content. Aventador uses a CFRP monocoque with CFRP outer panels. Aventador SVJ adds CFRP front splitter, rear wing, side skirts. Huracán STO body is approximately 75% CFRP (front bonnet, fenders, rear deck, engine cover, side intakes). Revuelto's "monofuselage" chassis is full carbon-fiber, with extensive CFRP outer body. CFRP is more than expensive — it's structurally sensitive: rock-chip damage that would buff out on aluminum becomes irreversible delamination on CFRP because the resin matrix is exposed.
Our CFRP prep is solvent-safe. We use only PPF-approved cleaners on carbon-fiber panels — aggressive solvents can craze the clear-coat resin layer and exposed weave gets cloudy. Edge-wrap on CFRP splitters and side skirts is hand-finished so the carbon weave stays fully visible while leading edges are protected by a thin film roll-over. Customers who want maximum protection on a Performante or STO get full clear over CFRP — cured resin clear-coat is preserved underneath, weave still readable.
The ALA active-aero system on Huracán Performante / STO has flaps in the front splitter and rear wing that open and close. The front-splitter ALA aperture is roughly 75mm × 240mm and must remain unobstructed. We template-cut the PPF around it. The rear-wing ALA flap closes onto the wing surface — we test articulation after install to confirm zero interference.
The front-axle lift system raises the nose ~1.5 inches at low speed for driveways. It's standard equipment on Huracán EVO and above, Aventador SVJ, and Revuelto. The lift system bypasses many LA driveway transitions, but speed bumps, steep parking-garage entries, and sloped curbs still chip the front lip and splitter. Front PPF (bumper + fenders + hood + rocker leading edges) is the most-requested package on Huracán builds at our studio for exactly this reason.

How much does Lamborghini PPF cost in Los Angeles?
At Hussle Customz, Lamborghini front-end PPF is $2,500 across the lineup. Full clear PPF is $6,200 (Huracán, Aventador, Revuelto) and $6,300 (Urus). Matte PPF is $6,800 across the line. Color PPF is $7,200 (Urus) and $7,300 (Huracán / Aventador / Revuelto).
Do you install PPF on Huracán STO and Performante?
Yes — Huracán STO, Tecnica, and Performante are demanding builds because of the carbon-fiber body panels (CFRP hood, fenders, rear deck on STO) and active aero (ALA — Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) flaps. CFRP requires specialized prep — we use solvent-safe cleaners and hand-finish edge-wraps so the carbon weave stays visible. ALA flap apertures are template-cut so airflow paths function as designed.
Does PPF work over the Lamborghini front lift system?
Yes — and it's why front-end PPF is essential on Huracán, Aventador, and Revuelto. The factory front-axle lift raises the nose ~1.5 inches for driveways, but LA driveway transitions, speed bumps, and parking-block contact still chip the front splitter, lower lip, and fender extensions. Full front PPF is the most-requested Huracán build at our studio.
Can you wrap a Lamborghini with Ad Personam paint?
Yes — clear PPF is the recommended approach for any Lamborghini Ad Personam paint. The Ad Personam program adds $15,000-$50,000+ from the factory and finishes are hand-applied at Sant'Agata Bolognese with custom mixed paints. Clear PPF preserves the original Ad Personam color while protecting it from rock chips. Most Ad Personam owners pick full-body clear PPF for resale value.
Does PPF affect Lamborghini sensors or ALA?
No. Front-bumper parking sensors, side cameras, and rear sensor cluster are masked. Front-axle lift system is sensor-driven and unaffected. ALA active-aero apertures are template-cut so airflow paths function. Lift, ANIMA modes, ALA — all factory after install.
Do you wrap Aventador SVJ and Revuelto V12?
Yes. Aventador SVJ and Ultimae are extensively carbon-fiber — most body panels are CFRP. Revuelto (V12 PHEV) replaces the SCG monocoque with a new monofuselage carbon-fiber chassis. Both require CFRP-safe prep, and the leading edges of carbon-fiber pieces benefit from edge-wrapped PPF more than steel/aluminum panels.
How long does a Lamborghini PPF install take?
Front-end PPF on Huracán or Aventador: 3-4 working days because of the front-splitter geometry. Full-body clear on Huracán: 5-7 days. Aventador / Revuelto: 6-8 days because of CFRP panel count. Urus: 5-7 days for full body. Color PPF adds 1-2 days for batch verification.
Where is my Lamborghini kept during the build?
Every Lamborghini stays inside our secure indoor facility in Van Nuys for the entire build. No outdoor parking, no shuffling between lots. Climate-controlled environment matters for CFRP prep and PPF cure cycles.
