About this build

This Pontiac Firebird Restomod came through our Los Angeles studio as a platform build — panel-by-panel prep stays the same across body styles — wash, decontaminate, align, install. Multi-service builds are sequenced deliberately — one finish has to fully cure before the next one goes on top, so the schedule reflects that order.

A Pontiac Firebird restomod finished with a partial PPF layout — film concentrated on hood, fenders and rocker panels where stone damage is most likely on a low classic body — plus custom racing stripes in satin black with a thin orange outline running along the spine of the car. The orange pinstripe is a direct call-back to the Firebird's original phoenix graphic without recreating the literal bird. Ceramic coating was applied to both the exterior body and the orange leather interior — coating leather extends stain resistance and makes long-term cleaning easier on a custom interior this saturated.

What we used on this Pontiac

Why these finishes were combined

Pontiac builds with several finishes work when each layer is planned in sequence: PPF stops the impact and chemical hits, ceramic coating sits on top so washing the car takes a fraction of the time and grime does not bake in.

What to expect after the install

Every Pontiac build at our Los Angeles studio includes a written aftercare brief and direct text-line access to the installer for the first month. Questions about your specific build — get a quote or call (424) 207-4435.
