About this build

This Tesla Model S came through our Los Angeles studio as an electric platform build — EV-specific spec considerations come into play: glass curvature, charge-port edges, and the way battery heat moves through the cabin all factor into the install plan. Satin is the in-between choice — deeper than matte, calmer than gloss, and the most forgiving on day-to-day swirl marks. Multi-service builds are sequenced deliberately — one finish has to fully cure before the next one goes on top, so the schedule reflects that order.

A Tesla Model S given a full satin colour change in cast vinyl. Satin films sit between matte and gloss — a smooth, low-sheen finish that hides reflections and reads premium on the long Model S body lines.

Panels were decontaminated before wrapping and a ceramic coating was layered over the film to protect the satin and simplify washing. See more car wrap Los Angeles builds, or a satin SUV — Satin Black Grand Cherokee.

What we used on this Tesla

Why these finishes were combined

Tesla builds with several finishes work when each layer is planned in sequence: the wrap delivers the colour and finish, the coating helps the vinyl shed dust and dead bugs between washes.

What to expect after the install

Every Tesla build at our Los Angeles studio includes a written aftercare brief and direct text-line access to the installer for the first month. Questions about your specific build — get a quote or call (424) 207-4435.
