Maserati's Levante SUV is an uncommon sight in most wrap shops, which means there are fewer installers with hands-on experience on the platform. At Hussle Customz we've completed multiple Levante builds and understand the specific body geometry — the signature front grille with its vertical slats, the sculpted hood lines, and the gently curved rear haunches all require different film handling than the flat panels found on competing luxury SUVs.
Our charcoal metallic Levante was a full color-change vinyl wrap that shifted the vehicle from its factory finish to a darker, more aggressive tone. The metallic flake in the vinyl catches light differently across the curved surfaces, creating depth that flat colors don't achieve. The gloss black PPF Levante took a different route — a self-healing protective film in a solid gloss black finish that looks painted rather than wrapped, paired with ceramic coating that adds an extra hydrophobic layer for easier maintenance.
Italian paint is beautiful but notoriously soft. Maserati owners in Los Angeles who want to preserve resale value should consider at minimum a clear PPF package on the front end, hood, and mirrors — the areas most exposed to road debris on freeway commutes. Combined with ceramic tint on the glass, the vehicle stays protected and comfortable in Southern California's year-round sun exposure.
