For this project, a satin orange film was installed to introduce a vivid color tone while maintaining softer reflections than a traditional gloss finish. Satin materials sit between gloss and matte textures, allowing the body lines to remain clearly defined without strong glare. In Southern California daylight, this type of finish reveals subtle gradients across the wide fender arches and door panels. The installation process required careful alignment across the long hood and roofline. The satin texture becomes most noticeable where the front fenders transition into the doors.
