This project used a brushed black metallic film to add texture and depth beyond what standard black wraps usually offer. The brushed pattern has to stay directionally consistent from panel to panel or the effect falls apart immediately, so layout and orientation were central to the installation. On a vehicle with upright panels, removable sections, and exposed edges, that becomes even more demanding. The finish gives the exterior a more industrial character without adding visual noise. The brushed effect reads strongest across the hood and long door panels where the texture has room to breathe.
