Privacy Policy

Who we are

Hussle Customz is an automotive paint protection film (PPF), vinyl wrap, and ceramic window tint shop located in California. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, phone line, and text messaging, how we use it, and the privacy rights available to you, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

We are a California business and serve primarily customers in the Los Angeles area. This policy applies to information we collect on husslecustomz.com, through our contact and quote forms, through our website chat assistant, when you call our phone line, and when you exchange text messages with us. Where we collect personal information directly from you (for example, on our web forms), we also provide a short notice at or before the point of collection that links to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information, organized by the categories enumerated under the CCPA. For each category we describe below the personal information itself, the sources we collect it from, the business or commercial purposes we use it for, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose or "share" it.

We collect this information through:

We do not sell products or process payments on this website, and we do not use a Meta/Facebook Pixel.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

Phone calls and AI assistant

When you call our phone number, your call may be answered by an automated AI phone assistant. You are told at the start of the call that you are speaking with an automated assistant and that the call is recorded. Inbound calls to our line are recorded in audio form (dual-channel), and the recording includes your voice. We use these recordings to handle your request, ensure accuracy, train and improve our phone assistant, and keep a record of what was discussed. If we call you back (for example, for follow-up on your request), those calls may also be recorded, and you will be informed at the start of the call.

California's call-recording laws require the consent of all parties to the recording of a confidential communication. California Penal Code §632 applies to confidential communications, and §632.7 applies to calls involving cellular or cordless telephones (which covers most mobile callers). We provide a recording disclosure at the start of each call, before audio is captured for our records, so that you are informed and can consent or decline. By continuing the call after being informed that the call is recorded, you consent to the recording of the call, including your voice.

How to decline: If you do not consent to being recorded, you may hang up and instead contact us by text message at (424) 207-4435, by email at husslecustomzads@gmail.com, or through the contact form on our website. You may also ask the assistant or a staff member not to record the call; if we cannot accommodate a recording-free call, we will offer one of these alternatives.

Our phone assistant is powered by third-party telephony and AI services (Telnyx and OpenAI). Call audio is processed by these providers to deliver the service.

Text messages / SMS

If you provide your phone number and check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Hussle Customz related to your inquiry, quote, and appointment follow-up. The SMS consent checkbox is not pre-checked; you must affirmatively opt in, and we record the date, source, and provenance of your consent. We send SMS through Telnyx using a registered 10DLC number.

We distinguish between the types of texts we send:

This is consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable carrier (CTIA/10DLC) requirements. At the point of opt-in, our form displays the program name, message purpose, "Msg & data rates may apply," "Msg frequency varies," the STOP/HELP instructions, and links to this Privacy Policy and our SMS terms.

Website chat assistant

Our website includes a chat assistant ("hussle-chat") you can use to ask questions and request quotes. The chat assistant records the messages you send, any name, phone number, or vehicle details you choose to provide, the page you were viewing, and a session identifier. We use this information to answer your questions and follow up on your request. The contents of your chat messages may constitute sensitive personal information; we use them only as necessary to provide and improve the service you requested.

The chat assistant is powered by the Anthropic Claude API under enterprise terms. Under those terms, Anthropic does not use our chat inputs or outputs to train its models. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into the chat that is not necessary for your request.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, measure traffic, and understand how visitors use our pages. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can use the specific opt-outs below.

Many browsers send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where required, we treat a GPC signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising for that browser.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have.

However, under the CCPA/CPRA, the term "sharing" includes disclosing personal information for "cross-context behavioral advertising" — that is, targeted advertising based on your activity across different websites. When we use advertising and analytics tools such as Google Ads conversion tracking, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity for advertising or behavioral purposes, our use of your identifiers and internet-activity information may qualify as "sharing" under California law, and the advertising partners involved may act as third parties rather than service providers. We want to be transparent about this rather than claim otherwise.

The categories of personal information that may be "shared" in this way are Identifiers and Internet or other electronic network activity. The categories of third parties with whom this information may be shared are advertising and analytics partners (such as Google).

You have the right to opt out of this "sharing." You can do so by:

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at husslecustomzads@gmail.com or call (424) 207-4435 — two methods are provided for submitting requests. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, and may extend that period by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request by matching information you provide against the information we hold, and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf (we may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity).

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. General retention periods by category:

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us at husslecustomzads@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Consistent with the CCPA/CPRA, we do not knowingly sell or "share" the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. For consumers between 13 and 16, we would not sell or share their information without that consumer's affirmative opt-in consent; for consumers under 13, we would require a parent or guardian's consent.

Third-party services

We rely on the following third parties to operate our business. Most act as our service providers and process data only to provide their service to us; our advertising and analytics partners may, to the extent data is used for cross-context behavioral advertising, act as third parties under California law:

These providers have their own privacy policies governing their use of information. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of third-party websites you may reach through links on our site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below and post the new version on this page. Material changes will take effect when posted.
